This week I was asked to create a logo for an auto parts business, Heads & Tails Lights and Accessories. Stevan, the owner, already had some ideas in mind so we jumped right in. Playing of Heads and Tails name, the client was looking for the logo to either take on the look of a coin or to incorporate a coin into the logo. Also, the client was looking to include an H and a T in some way, shape or form. The color scheme was influenced by a “Tooney”, $2 coin in Canada, with a gray and gold color providing a base for the coin, allowing the Red of the combine H and T to pop and stand out.
I haven’t had the opportunity to develop many logo’s since school and relish the opportunity to do so more often. This project was great, but far to brief.
